In response to another mass shooting, President Obama and his staff continued to condemn gun policies and call for more gun-control legislation. Events at Oregon College spurred response from leaders around the country, both in government and the private sector.
Vice President Joe Biden, speaking at the Concordia Summit in New York, commented, “We’re basically the only civilized country in the world with so many mass shootings.”
