Mr. Nyenhuis heads the world’s leading nonprofit provider of donated medicine and medical supplies. Americares is a health-focused relief and development organization that responds to people affected by poverty or disaster with life-changing health programs, medicine and medical supplies. Since it was established, Americares hasprovided more than $13 billion in aid to 164 countries including the United States.

Concordia and Americares have been working closely to address global health issues worldwide. Mr. Nyenhuis has been personally involved with Concordia since 2015. As a speaker at the 2016 Concordia Annual Summit, he demonstrated how Americares has for nearly 40 years responded to people affected by poverty or disaster through astrategic public-private partnership approach.
