At the 2015 Concordia Summit, Ian Bremmer, founder of the Eurasia Group, discussed how the global marketplace will be affected by three destabilizing themes: relations between Russia and Syria amid Turkish protests, the refugee crisis in Europe and technology’s effect on the dwindling middle class.
Speaking at the 2015 Concordia Summit, Bremmer summarized, “I think we’re moving into a much more destabilized period. [There] will be winners and losers, but they’re going to be so much more concentrated on the top and that balance is very destabilizing globally. And, I don’t know how the United States reacts to that.”
