Concordia Announces new Director of Social Impact

Concordia is pleased to announce that Hanne Dalmut has joined the organization as the Director of Social Impact. This marks a transition for Concordia to an organization that not only convenes and facilitates partnerships, but also enables direct, lasting, and positive social impact.

“We are thrilled to have Hanne on board. Her expertise and experience will greatly contribute to Concordia as we expand our Campaigns, which are our direct answer to social impact,” Concordia’s CEO and Co-Founder Matthew A. Swift announced.

Hanne will lead Concordia’s Campaign arm. Campaigns narrow Concordia’s programming, research, and networking focus to tackle a particularly pressing global problem. A campaign draws attention to an issue and catalyzes action for maximum social impact around an issue.

Concordia’s Campaign Against Labor Trafficking was launched in July 2015 to fight labor trafficking in corporate supply chains, specifically in the Thai fishing industry. Under Hanne’s leadership, Concordia will launch additional Campaigns to leverage our platform for positive social change.

Hanne Dalmut joins Concordia from the U.S. Institute of Peace and the PeaceTech Lab, where she served as Senior Specialist, working on strategic initiatives and partnership building.

“I am excited to be a part of such a dynamic team dedicated to making a positive social impact. Concordia’s Campaigns have a huge potential to make a meaningful difference on a range of timely and important issues, and I am honored to be leading these efforts,” said Hanne Dalmut.
