Worldwide, one in three people do not have access to safe drinking water and two out of five people do not have a basic hand-washing facility with soap and water. The COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated the critical importance of sanitation, hygiene and adequate access to clean water for preventing and containing diseases.This partnership is focused on providing access to clean potable water in Nigeria and building the capacity and awareness of communities on safe water practice and preventing water borne diseases. The overarching goal is to promote proper sanitation and hygiene practice specifically among women and school children in rural and underserved communities.
