William Sparks is with Winrock International where he led the USAID Feed the Future’s Asia Innovative Farmer Activity that facilitated expansion of innovations throughout Asia. The project raised over $4 million in technology investments and scaled technologies to benefit over 1 million people. He was awarded the InsideNGO Operational Excellence award for developing numerous innovations, including Sell More For More – a program linking farmer organizations to markets – and named by IFAD and InterAction as a best practice in international development. He also co-created the AchieVe performance management system for which he received the Dr. JP London award for Promoting Ethical Behavior. He is the author of two business books, lives in Thailand, and enjoys running ultra-marathons.
