Vedanshi Vala is an Executive Office Intern at Concordia under the Data and CRM portfolio. Outside of Concordia, Vedanshi is the Co-Founder & Executive Director of BOLT Safety Society, a ‘tech startup meets nonprofit’ dedicated to creating safer, more equitable communities. A budding entrepreneur and community leader, Vedanshi is the founder of MAZE, a pop-up mystery events brand, coordinates the largest Provincial Heritage Fair in Canada at the BC Heritage Fairs Society, and has sat on the Board of Directors of several non-profits. Vedanshi has received awards from L’Oréal Paris and the Government of Canada among others, and her international speaking portfolio spans five countries, including at high-level platforms like the United Nations. With a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Sciences from the University of British Columbia, Vedanshi leverages her academic and research background towards making a tangible impact.
