Thomas Gaziano is associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School in the division of cardiovascular medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He also holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Gaziano works on the implementation and evaluation of interventions to prevent adverse and premature CVD morbidity and mortality in the US, South Africa, Argentina, and in other low- and middle-income countries. His research at Harvard includes the development of decision analytic models to assess the cost-effectiveness of various screening, prevention, and management decisions in CVD in the United States.
