This businessperson was born in Quito; she is a pioneer woman in the airline sector, the hotel industry, and in supporting communities, entrepreneurship, and tourism in Ecuador.
Her professional career has been carried out in the productive sector. She was the first Ecuadorian woman to preside over an airline in the region: Aerogal, which later merged with Avianca. She was the first CEO of an airline in the Americas. Her successful management made her part of the book “70 Women Who Inspire Generations of Aviation Professionals”, published by the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization).
She is a member of the Charles Darwin Foundation and in the private sector; she has activities in real estate, hotels, and renewable energy sectors.
She was named Businesswoman of the Year, Vice President of the Quito Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the board of directors of Global Pact, Movich Hotels, and AmbInBev National Brewery. She is General Manager of the Hotel Le Parc and until 2022 she was CEO of Equair.
In the public sector, she served as a member of the Yasuni ITT Negotiating Team and was General Manager of Quito Tourism.
