In her role as an Associate, Thalia serves as Concordia’s liaison with all foreign governments and multilateral institutions, with a key focus on strengthening diplomatic representation across the EU, NATO, and beyond. Based in London, Thalia is also responsible for developing programming related to Concordia’s European Initiative, including invitation logistics, session briefings, and strategic analysis. Prior to joining the Programming team, Thalia completed an internship in Concordia’s Partnerships department in the New York HQ where she assisted in private sector engagement opportunities.
Thalia has also worked as a Graduate Research Fellow of the Harriman Institute for YIHR Croatia, as a Policy Analyst for Pavimar S.A., a Research Assistant for UNHCR, and as a Legal Intern for Watson Farley & Williams LLP. Thalia also holds a Masters Degree in Human Rights Studies with a focus on International Humanitarian Law from Columbia University in New York City where she was awarded an academic scholarship.
