Susan Stellin, MPH is a research, education, and communications consultant focused on health-centered responses to substance use and addiction. As a 2025-2026 Reynolds Journalism Institute fellow, she created Covering Drugs, a resource guide for research and reporting on alcohol and drugs. She regularly leads training workshops for the Opioid Response Network and is the co-author of Chancers, a dual memoir about her husband Graham MacIndoe’s addiction, incarceration, and recovery. She was a contributor to The New York Times for 15 years and her work has also been published in New York magazine, The Guardian, The Atlantic, and many other publications.
