Stephen Badger

Stephen Mills Badger II is the Chairman of the Mars, Incorporated Board of Directors. He
has served on the Board of Directors since 2008 and assumed the role of Chairman in
March 2011. Stephen is a member of the Audit Committee and the Benefits Funding &
Investment Oversight Committee. Stephen was one of the key developmental influences of
Seeds of Change. He also expanded the business to include an offering of certified organic
prepackaged soups, sauces and other foods for sale in the United States and the UK.
Stephen was President of the company from 1995 to 2004. From 2004 to 2007, Stephen
served in the role of Global Director of Corporate Affairs for Mars, Incorporated. In this role,
he reinvigorated and refocused the company’s Corporate Affairs function and was globally
responsible for key personnel, crisis management, government affairs, public policy, public
and media relations, and internal corporate communications.
