Shreya Balhara is the Associate Director of Partnerships. In this role, she oversees Concordia’s work building and strengthening our partnerships and memberships. Our partners and members are instrumental to achieving our mission to foster, elevate, and sustain cross-sector partnerships that drive market-driven solutions to global challenges.
Shreya previously served as a Director at public sector consulting firm, HR&A Advisors, advising government and nonprofit clients on issues including affordable housing, economic development, master planning, and digital connectedness. She also held multiple roles in the human rights sector, undertaking direct services, advocacy, and leadership roles in the nonprofit sector at Scholars at Risk and PEN America. She served as Deputy Director at Community Opportunity Fund, while working as a Strategy Analyst at affordable housing development firm, Jonathan Rose Companies.
Shreya holds a Master of Business Administration from Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a Master’s degree in Human Rights Studies, with a focus on housing, from Columbia University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from New York University. She speaks English, Hindi, Spanish, and French.
