Shira Gerver

Shira Gerver is Vice President, Global Head of Oncology Corporate Affairs at AstraZeneca, leading a combined team of professionals across the oncology business and research and development organizations to advance AstraZeneca’s leadership in Oncology with one unified voice through corporate and product communications, patient advocacy engagement, and government affairs and policy shaping as the company continues to redefine cancer care. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Shira held senior global roles at leading communications agencies, including Lippe Taylor, Burson-Marsteller and Edelman. She holds a Master of Public Health, Communication and Marketing degree from George Washington University and is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University.
