Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Shira held senior global roles at leading communications agencies, including Lippe Taylor, Burson-Marsteller and Edelman. She holds a Master of Public Health, Communication and Marketing degree from George Washington University and is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University.
