Sevi Voloudaki, MP for Chania, studied Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and later obtained three postgraduate degrees in Community Law, Public International Law and Political Sciences from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).She has a PhD in Competition Law. She speaks English, French, and German.
Before entering politics, she worked as a legal advisor for major, private and public sector companies and has also worked in the European Parliament. She is a co-founder of “Women Act”, an organization aimed at empowering women in public life, and participates as a mentor in “The People’s Trust,” a non-profit organization that supports small businesses.
Sevi Voloudaki is the wife of the late Manousos Voloudakis, MP for Chania and former Deputy Minister. They have three children together: Giorgos, Sifis, and Daphne
