Scott Kalb

Scott Kalb is the Executive Director for the Sovereign Investor Institute. Prior to SII, Scott Kalb was the former Chief Investment Officer and Deputy CEO of the Korea Investment Corp. While serving at the KIC during 2009-2012, Mr. Kalb played a leading role in building out the fund, successfully and profitably diversifying the portfolio across a broad array of traditional and alternative asset classes while presiding over growth in AUM from $19 billion to $50 billion. Prior to joining the KIC, Mr. Kalb had spent more than twenty five years in the financial markets, most recently serving as Senior Portfolio Manager at Balyasny Asset Management, Managing Partner at Black Arrow Capital Management and Senior Portfolio Manager at Tudor.
