Sara is a director at AOL Inc, where she heads Citizen AOL including employee engagement, cause marketing and the AOL Charitable Foundation. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private nonprofit foundation solely supported by AOL, Inc. The Foundation is a part of AOL’s broader philanthropic and volunteer efforts focused on empowering women, girls and underserved youth through leadership, education, technology and opportunity. Before AOL, Sara was a partner at Little West Group Inc., a philanthropic consulting firm which she co-founded. Previously, Sara was Vice President and head of the Social Impact and Philanthropy practice at Korn Consulting Group, working with nonprofit and commercial organizations on strategy, board development, leadership and organizational effectiveness. Prior to Korn Consulting, she spent more than nine years at Goldman Sachs. She was a program manager at The Goldman Sachs Foundation where she led grantmaking, strategic partnerships and corporate philanthropy initiatives. Before that, Sara developed global employee engagement and wellness programs in Goldman Sachs’ Human Capital Management Division. She spent two years in London, managing programs in Europe and India. Sara holds an M.A. from Columbia University in Organizational Psychology and a B.A. from the University of Maryland in Psychology.
