Born and raised in Mayfield, Pennsylvania, Sam Mulvey is a philosophy major at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Sam’s passions include striving for truth and tackling difficult philosophical questions in ethics and political thought. He has developed these interests through his own passion for reading philosophical and literary classics as well as his commitment to open conversations with peers and mentors. Sam has interned at the Army War College where he assisted the development of the Service Academy Oath Project. He is currently a member of the West Point Ethics Debate team, Phi Kappa Phi honor society and is serving as a platoon leader in the United States Corps of Cadets.
