Mr. Torbert is the Chief Program Officer at Third Derivative, a global VC accelerator that helps climate tech entrepreneurs find a faster, more reliable path to market. Roy leads work in sectors critical to climate; heavy industry, power, transportation, buildings, carbon markets, and others. Roy was previously a Business Executive on District Systems and Energy with Google, focused on microgrids for mixed-use urban districts, and before that, a Senior Principal at RMI, overseeing programs in Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
