Riikka is a Partner at EY-Parthenon, leading the Nordic ESG and Sustainability team in Strategy and Transactions. Riikka and her team focus on serving Nordic corporate and private equity clients with value-led sustainability services, such as sustainable strategy, ESG due diligence and ESG-focused value creation. Selected growth platforms include future of food systems, resource efficiency and circular economy, energy transition, and sustainable finance.
Riikka has over fifteen years of experience working with sustainable business spanning a wide range of sectors, in advisory, corporate, board and academic roles. Prior to joining EY, Riikka held senior strategy, sustainability and innovation roles in the biomaterials industry, acted as a board member in a green scale-up as well as led the sustainability services in another management consultancy.
Riikka has a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Enterprising and systems theory from the Stockholm Resilience Centre at Stockholm University. She is also a PhD candidate at Aalto University, focusing on commercialisation of sustainable innovation. Riikka is an Advisory Board member at the Aalto University Biomaterials Innovation Centre.
