Ria is Concordia’s first high school intern. She previously interned at Concordia during the summer and fall of 2016.Ria is completing her senior year at The Hewitt School, an all-girls private school in Manhattan. She is an avid journalist and leads various service initiatives as the head of the Student Service Board. She also founded The Politics and Law Club and created its weekly journal to foster debate and discussion within her community.
An advocate for the rights of women, Ria currently serves as the Co-Director of the New York Regional Coalition for Girl Up, a campaign of the United Nations that promotes the rights of girls. Her other interests include international affairs and economics.
