Renata is the Director-General of the Arapyaú Institute, co-facilitator of the Brazil Climate, Forests, and Agriculture Coalition, and a member of the Council for Sustainable Economic and Social Development of Brazil’s Presidency. A lawyer by training, she co-founded the initiative Uma Concertação pela Amazônia and serves as an advisor to GIFE. She holds a master’s in environmental law from PUC-SP and has completed specialized programs at the Harvard Kennedy School, Schumacher College, the Amani Institute, and Homeward Bound.
