R. Brad Lane is the Chief Executive Officer of RIDGE-LANE LP, a corporate advisory firm he co-founded with The Hon. Thomas J. Ridge, former Governor of Pennsylvania and first Secretary of U.S. Department of Homeland Security – with a team of General Partners, Venture Partners and Senior Advisors who have served at the highest levels of finance, government and military.
Previously, he founded Lane Financial Corporation, a multi-family-office for ultra-high-net-worth individuals where he oversaw the firm’s wealth management platform and served as Managing Director of Atlas Capital, structuring private equity investments in Consumer and Enterprise Technology.
He advises ranking officials from the United States Departments of Defense (DoD), Homeland Security (DHS) and Education (ED) on private sector innovation and serves as a mentor to select portfolio companies of Techstars, Founders Factory and Y Combinator.
Mr. Lane is a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education, focused on neuroplasticity in human development utilizing learning sciences. He served on the Board of Directors at Big Brothers Big Sisters, David Lynch Foundation, Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York Angels, and as a Distinguished Fellow of the Council on Competitiveness.
