Pedro Less is Vice President of Public Policy for Latin America at META (Facebook). He is also founder and Vice President of the Latin American Internet Association (ALAI) and member of the Inter-American Dialogue President Leadership Council.

Back in 2007 he started Google’s Public Policy Team in Latin America and led this team for 12 years. He has been a Law Professor on Internet Law for two decades. Pedro held positions as Board Member and Head of the Regulatory Commission at Argentina’s Internet Chamber (CABASE); served as Vice President for Public Policy of the Latin American & Caribbean Federation for internet & Ecommerce (EComLac) and the Legislative Commission of the Argentinean E-Commerce Chamber (CACE).

He has been an Associate Professor on Electronic Commerce at the University of Buenos Aires Law School and Coordinator and Professor of the Online Update Program on Computer Law of the Graduate Law School of the same university. He is faculty member at the South School on Internet Governance and an invited professor and lecturer at several Latin American universities and International fora on Internet policy matters.

Pedro holds a Law degree from Universidad of Buenos Aires and a Master degree (LL.M) from University of Georgia with a thesis on international regulation of electronic commerce. He also pursued postgraduate studies in the Legal Framework of the Multilateral Trading System of the WTO.
