Paul Knox Clarke is Principal of the ADAPT initiative, an organisation that works with humanitarian and emergency response organisations to prepare them for the crises of climate change; he also serves as Senior Advisor, International Medical Corps. Over the course of his career, Paul has worked on the ground in humanitarian programmes in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kenya, Mali and Sri Lanka, as well as in headquarters positions in the World Food Programme and Save the Children. As a global authority on humanitarian strategy and performance, he has been retained to advise a wide variety of intergovernmental organisations and NGOs, conducted numerous evaluations, and written extensively on leadership, coordination and organisational structures supporting effective response.
