Paige Winfield Cunningham started her journalism career as a county board reporter at the Naperville Sun in the Chicago area. She has since covered Virginia state government, worked as a general congressional reporter and in 2011 started covering the roll-out of the Affordable Care Act along with broader health-care policy. She has been a fellow of the Fulbright Commission’s Berlin Capital Program and the National Press Foundation’s Precision Medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic.
