Segun is currently the Head of Africa Fintech Foundry. He is active and passionate about developing the Tech startup ecosystem within Africa, providing an enabling environment for nurturing, mentoring and access to funding, and a focus on building “local global” businesses out of Africa. He is a trained Software Engineer and Business Manager, possessing a 1st degree in Software Engineering from the University of Central England in Birmingham, and an MBA from University of Warwick.

In addition to working with Global Software providers and Telecoms operators in every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle, he brings a strong, rare and unique balance of Commercial and Technical skills required to excel in businesses with challenges around resource productivity/skill-sets and team dynamics; as well as, extensive knowledge and experience from providing advisory and consulting to various global investors on deciding on investments and maximising their return on investments for their investments in IT businesses.

Prior to joining Access Bank, Segun was a Director at Castellum Consulting, where he last led a global network software transformation program for Telefonica UK. His previous experiences are with Telecoms OEMs and Software companies like Rancard, Oracle, Nokia and IBM.
