Noah leads Together for Safer Roads’ work to make businesses active participants in the United Nations’ Decade of Action for Road Safety, local Vision Zero initiatives and similarly ambitious road safety campaigns. He is responsible for overseeing the organization’s strategic direction on behalf of TSR’s Governing Board and membership, growing the organization’s membership and network of partners and ensuring programs are delivered in support of stakeholders. TSR empowers commercial road users, data analysts and technology providers to make any community safer. The organization works in three program areas: safer cities (accelerating progress on the ground), safer fleets and the Safer Roads Studio (breakthrough technology and data). In addition to eliminating road deaths, Noah is passionate about fostering social and economic equity and supporting healthy communities that combat climate change. Prior to TSR, Noah was the executive director of the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, data practice director at Zendrive and deputy director at Transportation Alternatives in New York City, where he introduced Vision Zero to the United States, helping New York write and implement the first Vision Zero policy in the country. Noah has served on numerous non-profit boards, expert committees and other panels to advance road safety and mobility. His roots in transportation go back to high school, when he convinced his gym teacher to let him start a mountain biking club in lieu of going to class.
