Niraj is EVP of International Public Sector (IPS) for Vodafone Global Enterprise. Vodafone Global Enterprise is the business unit accountable for the end to end management of Vodafone’s largest multi-national corporate customers world-wide.
As EVP of IPS, Niraj has responsibility for determining and driving Vodafone’s business development, customer satisfaction, customer value proposition and sales strategy for accounts like United Nations, European Union, NATO, US Department of Defence, US Department of State, Ministries of Foreign Affairs/embassies and NGOs.
In April 2012 Niraj became Chief Business Officer for Vodafone Qatar, and prior to that he was the Chief Operating Officer for Vodafone Global Enterprise for India. Niraj joined Vodafone in October 2008 from Alcatel Lucent.
Niraj has vast experience in international strategic sales in the telecommunications industry, in previous roles prior to joining Vodafone. At Alcatel Lucent, he had a variety of roles in sales, margin realization, supply chain & procurement in the USA and India. Prior to Alcatel Lucent Niraj worked for Eltec, a manufacturing automation company based in Mid West USA.
Niraj holds a MBA degree in from Kellogg School of Management – Northwestern University and a M.S. degree in Engineering from Ohio University.
