Kerry Denerstein is Regulatory Affairs Lead at CLS Bank International, where she manages the firm’s relationship with the Federal Reserve, as well as the 23 central banks that comprise the CLS Oversight Committee. She is also responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and engaging with authorities on relevant regulatory and legislative developments, including those related to blockchain and central bank digital currencies. Kerry serves on the organizing committee of the Post-Trade Distributed Ledger (PTDL) Group and represents CLS on various other industry bodies and organizations. Prior to joining CLS, Kerry worked at Barclays Bank PLC in the Investment Bank Chief Controls Office, and was a corporate attorney at Baker Botts LLP. She received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and a juris doctorate from Brooklyn Law School.
