Methusella Rwabose was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, lived in a refugee camp for six years and moved to the United States in 2015. He is the vice president and Co-founder of Colectivo de Paz, a non-profit organization based in Denver. He is a recent graduate in political science and leadership studies from the University of Denver. Methusella has a passion for helping and serving others. While in school, he interned for U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper, Colorado State Congressman Joe Neguse, and Colorado State Representative Leslie Herod. In addition, he served in the Undergraduate Student Government, connecting students to resources and improving students’ experience on campus.
