Matt Clark leads global engagement training programs and manages public affairs initiatives in the Center for Citizen Diplomacy at PYXERA Global. He designs and implements projects to promote and celebrate person-to-person interactions across cultures that result in mutual exchange and create shared understanding. Matt has coordinated and hosted international conferences that explore opportunities for enhanced collaboration between thought leaders in K-12, higher education, community-based exchange programs, and cultural organizations.

In the Global Pro Bono practice of PYXERA Global, Matt manages international corporate volunteer projects for IBM, JPMorgan Chase, and PepsiCo, working with teams around the world that deliver solutions for issues ranging from food security and transportation infrastructure to women’s economic empowerment and workforce development.

Prior to joining PYXERA Global, Matt worked in Japan with local school districts to develop English language curriculum and international education initiatives that more purposefully connect Japanese students to the world. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Drake University, where he was honored with induction to the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Matt serves on the Board of Directors for the United Nations Association of Iowa, is Vice President of the Japan-America Society, and represents the JET Alumni Association as a regional chairperson.
