Dr. María Clara Hoyos Jaramillo is a professional with more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector and microfinance. Since 2011, she has served as the Executive President of Asomicrofinanzas, a guild that represents 37 entities such as banks, cooperatives, MFIs and foundations, among others, that offer financial services oriented towards social, economic and financial inclusion. Her extensive knowledge about the needs of the population with productive businesses and the problems of urban, rural and agricultural areas allow her to promote initiatives for a multidimensional inclusion, supporting financial, social, productive and environmental development in Colombia.
