Margo Jacobs is the Director of Campaign Development for the United Nations Foundation, working closely with Girl Up – an innovative campaign that works to build a youth constituency dedicated to improving the lives of the world’s hardest-to-reach girls. The campaign mobilizes teen girls to raise funds and awareness for United Nations programs that serve adolescent girls in developing countries. Margo supports the development work and strategic partnerships of the Girl Up, Shot@Life, and Nothing But Nets campaigns for the UN Foundation, which cumulatively represent more than one million supporters and provide millions of dollars annually in support of UN programs that empower girls and address key health needs in developing countries. In working with the Girl Up campaign Margo identifies creative ways to partner with the private sector through cause-marketing, employee engagement, signature sponsorships, advocacy, and more.

Prior to joining the UN Foundation, Margo was a Vice President with CCS, a comprehensive fund-raising consulting and management firm serving a wide range of non-profits. At CCS, Margo served as professional fundraising counsel for clients in the global health, health care, religious, higher and secondary education sectors.

Margo graduated from Lehigh University with a B.A. in International Relations.
