Lwanda is the youngest black female chartered accountant to qualify in the top 5 of the countrie’s pool in 2010. She has trained and spent the bulk of her career in investment banking, specifically mergers and acquisition. She led s number of landmark transactions in the South African corporate space as a lead transactor at Rand Merchant Bank. Having successfully created and led a top class advisory team specializing in empowerment transaction, she join Dr Jabu Mabuza as his chief of staff and lead advisor across various portfolios including Business Advocacy Institutions and Private Listed entities. Recently she has been at the helm of the restructuring of South Africa’s utility company. Alongside that she also sits in an advisory capacity on the Top 80 listed companies’ initiative looking at growth and employment plans in the South African context. She also runs the Mabuza family office looking at private equity investments in various industries.
