As Vice President for Government Affairs for Asia Pacific and Japan, Dr. Lovneesh Chanana is responsible for driving the public policy and thought leadership engagements for SAP with Government and other stakeholders. His domain of responsibilities covers engagements related to policies such as data governance, cloud, IoT, cyber security etc. and key programs in the region. He is also responsible for strategic public sector business support.
Dr. Lovneesh brings more than twenty-six years of wide-ranging IT and consulting experience to the role, with a track record of strategic engagements on IT. He has handled multiple consulting and IT implementation projects. He has also been contributing to capacity building of Government officials and has designed and developed training programs on various areas related to Information and communication technologies in Government.
He works closely with academia in facilitating a strong industry-academia connect.
Before joining SAP, Dr. Lovneesh has held leadership positions with IBM, KPMG, EY and National Productivity Council of India.
He holds a Ph.D. with research focus on mobile governance. He holds a bachelor and post graduate qualification in Industrial Engineering.
