Leigh Anne DeWine is Director of Human Rights and Social Impact at Amazon, responsible for the teams that work to ensure that the people, workers, and communities across Amazon’s entire value chain are treated with dignity and respect. Leigh Anne oversees the implementation of Amazon’s Global Human Rights Principles, Supply Chain Standards, and Supplier Manual as well as key commitments on a number of issues including: fair wages, safe workplaces, environment, freely chosen employment, and gender equity. In her role, Leigh Anne leads the continuous evaluation of Amazon’s supply chain and operations to identify the industries, countries, and issues where the company has the greatest opportunities to identify and address risks and have a positive impact on workers.
