Leah is an Investments Manager with Humanity United, a philanthropic organization dedicated to promoting peace and ending human trafficking. At Humanity United, she coordinates the Partnership for Freedom, a public-private partnership with the federal government dedicated to promoting innovation to end human trafficking, and manages grants related to human trafficking. Leah previously served as an advisor to the Special Representative for the Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review Office at the Department of State, as a public affairs officer with the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking Persons, where she focused on interagency engagement, and as a staff assistant in the Office of Congressman Tom Perriello of Virginia. She began her career at Humanity United as a Policy Associate, where she helped coordinate the Alliance to End Slavery and Trafficking. Leah graduated magna cum laude from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University with a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy, specializing in security studies and negotiation and conflict resolution, and has a bachelor of arts from Carleton College.
