As Communications Intern, Laura supports Concordia’s team through promoting the organization’s mission, vision, principles, and daily activity through different internal and external communication channels.
Born and raised in Colombia, her propensity towards solving socially-relevant issues has led her to be actively involved in ColombiaCrece, an educative foundation in her country, where she participated as teacher, and as communications assistant manager. Likewise, Laura was part of Manos a la Paz (Hands on Peace), an initiative from the Colombian High Counseling for Post-Conflict and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), where she had the opportunity to be at the service of the Agency for Territory Renewal, working alongside communities in Rioblanco, Tolima, to begin the implementation of Colombia’s peace process.
Laura is an Enterprises and International Business Management student at Universidad del Rosario.
