Laura Ostenso is an economic development professional with more than ten years’ experience working to improve rural agriculture markets in emerging economies. At Feed the Future Partnering for Innovation/Fintrac, Laura leads knowledge management and exchange, communications, and technical assistance for the program’s commercial partners. She also manages the online AgTechXChange community to bring together businesses, development professionals, and investors working to commercialize agriculture technologies in smallholder markets. Prior, Laura worked for Agrilinks.com, World Cocoa Foundation, and a variety of nongovernmental organizations. She holds a M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Sussex and a B.A. in Political Economics from the Evergreen State College.
