Kevin McGinnis serves as Arizona State University’s Vice President for Strategic Technology Initiatives. In this role, he leads ASU’s public-private partnerships related to microelectronics and other critical technologies. Before joining ASU, Kevin served for nearly a decade in national security and technology policy roles in the U.S. federal government, including most recently as Director for Research and Analysis on the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence. He has also previously served in the Office of Management and Budget’s National Security Division, the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, and the Defense Innovation Unit. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master in Public Affairs, both from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs.
