Originally from Ashdod, Israel, Katya graduated from Hebrew University of Jerusalem in November 2016 with a BA in Political Science and Sociology – Anthropology. During her studies, Katya co-founded a student organization for immigrants from the former USSR and participated in various negotiation projects concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Prior to becoming an intern for the Campaigns team at Concordia, Katya interned at the Israeli Parliament for MK Kssenia Svetlova and worked in the Rothberg International School at Hebrew University. Katya is interested in immigration policies and their international impact as well as different cultures and their ability to co-exist.
