Karla Newendorp

Karla Newendorp is the Interim Director of Investments of VilCap Investments, LLC. For the past decade, Karla has been working with enterprises and nonprofits globally, to help strengthen their economic and social impacts in the communities where they work. Before joining Village Capital, Karla was Program Director of Kick SF Accelerator and the Associate Director at The Eleos Foundation, investing in early-stage social enterprises in emerging markets. Prior to Eleos, Karla worked at Building Markets, an economic development organization supporting SMEs in post-conflict areas, a communications firm working with socially responsible businesses, the World Affairs Council, and the United Nations. She has a Master’s Degree in Development Economics from the Tor Vergata School at the University of Rome, Italy.
