Jeff is the co-founder and CEO of Partners in Food Solutions, a consortium of leading global food companies – General Mills,Cargill, DSM, and Buhler– who are committed to improving food security and nutrition and economic development throughout Africa by sharing the knowledge and expertise of their employees with small and growing food companies through a lauded public/private partnership with USAID.  Since 2011 they have worked to improve more than 600 Africa based food companies.

Jeff’s work is shaped and informed by having spent half his career in business with companies like Cargill and the other half in international development (including time living and working with his family both in Zambia and Kenya) leading to a unique and practical understanding of how both of these sectors can benefit from the other and accomplish more together than apart.

A Colorado native, Jeff is a graduate of Westmont College, Santa Barbara, CA and currently resides in Edina, Minnesota with his family.  Jeff is a member of the World Economic Forum’s New Vision for Agriculture Transformation Leaders Network and is active in his local community currently serving on the board of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Impact Hub.
