Hossein Nowbar is President and Chief Legal Officer at ServiceNow, where he leads Legal, Societal, & Global Affairs (LSGA), a unified organization spanning legal, ethics, governance, compliance, risk, corporate and government affairs, ServiceNow.org, social impact, and sustainability.
LSGA serves as a unified trust engine, enabling the business, generating and accelerating revenue, and shaping the environment ServiceNow operates in so the company, its customers, and communities can thrive together. To this endeavor, Hossein partners closely with ServiceNow’s executive leadership team and the board of directors.
Hossein brings almost three decades of experience at the intersection of technology, law, and public policy. He is a trusted advisor on critical issues including artificial intelligence, privacy and security, intellectual property, and global regulatory matters.
Prior to joining ServiceNow, Hossein spent more than 25 years at Microsoft Corporation, most recently serving as Chief Legal Officer. During his tenure, he held increasingly senior leadership roles across Microsoft’s corporate and legal affairs functions, including serving as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and as frontline legal counsel to some of the company’s most strategic businesses, including Cloud and AI.
