HELENA GARCÍA. Mexican economist and political scientist specialized in issues of competitiveness and sustainable development. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM) and holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and International Development (MPA / ID) from Harvard University. He has extensive experience in the design, analysis and evaluation of public policies. She worked as a researcher at Fedesarrollo on issues of economics and environmental policy, innovation and competitiveness. She has also worked in the public sector as National Manager of Applied Research, Technological Development and Innovation in SENA, and in the Mexican government as Coordinator of Advisors in the Secretariat of Social Development (Sedesol) and as Director of Research and Institutional Analysis and Public Policy in the National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change (INECC). He is currently General Vice President of the Private Competitiveness Council where he leads research processes on issues related to productivity, green growth, science, technology and innovation, and business financing.
