Hammam Juraied is the Chief Executive Officer of the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND), a regional development institution established with the support of the Gulf Cooperation Council states. He leads AGFUND’s current strategic
transformation, with a focus on expanding development impact, strengthening governance, and building cross-sector partnerships across financial inclusion, early childhood development, women’s empowerment, civil society, and open education.
Over more than two decades, Juraied has worked at the intersection of public policy,
institutional transformation, and human development. Before becoming CEO in January 2026, he joined AGFUND as Advisor to the Chairman. He previously served as Executive Vice President for Strategic Partnerships and Communications at the Pilgrim Experience Program, one of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 programs, contributing to the development of an integrated service ecosystem for millions of pilgrims.
He also led developmental housing initiatives at Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Housing and served as CEO of Ekhaa Endowment for Orphans, where he helped transform orphan care from institutional accommodation into more than 160 community-based social homes, supporting young people on their path toward stability and independent living.
Juraied is a recipient of the GCC Joint Youth Action Award. He is a graduate of the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School and holds a master’s degree in Communication and Development from King Saud University.
