Dr. Greg Allgood is Vice President of Water and Health at World Vision U.S. Under his leadership, World Vision has become the leading nongovernmental (NGO) provider of clean drinking water in the developing world and the leading NGO improving health by upgrading health centers. Prior to joining World Vision, he worked for Procter & Gamble (P&G) for 27 years and is the Founder of the P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water (CSDW) Program, the P&G Nutrition Science Institute, and the P&G Health Sciences Institute. He has a PhD in Toxicology from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, where he did research in water quality. In the health area, his expertise is in the areas of gastrointestinal illness and nutritional deficiency.
