Robb Gordon is the President and Managing Director of the U.S. Information Technology Office. Robb is a senior legal and policy executive with more than 25 years of experience at the intersection of technology, international business, and government affairs. His career spans leadership roles in both the private and public sectors, including more than two decades at Intel and senior advisory service with the U.S. Department of State.
Robb brings deep expertise in international law, trade, technology policy, and cross-border strategy, informed by more than a decade of experience living and working in Asia. At Intel, he led the company’s legal and policy team across Greater China, managing more than 16 professionals and advising senior executives on complex regulatory, geopolitical, and commercial matters.
Following his departure from Intel in 2024, Robb was selected for a Franklin Talent Exchange Fellowship at the U.S. Department of State, where he served as Senior Advisor to the Undersecretary of State for Economic Affairs. He also served concurrently as a Technology and Science Policy Fellow with the RAND Corporation in Washington, DC. Throughout his career, Robb has been recognized for building strong teams, navigating complex international environments, and helping bridge industry and government perspectives on critical technology and economic security issues.
Robb is proficient in Mandarin Chinese. He is also an avid long-distance runner and downhill skier.
