Gideon Maltz is the CEO of the Tent Partnership for Refugees, an organization working with the world’s biggest companies to connect refugees to jobs, and a 2024 TIME100 Most Influential Companies honoree. In 2025, Gideon received The Charles Bronfman Prize, for his innovative work and global impact as a humanitarian.
Previously, Gideon served as Chief of Staff to Samantha Power at USAID and held several positions with the Obama Administration.
Gideon has published widely on refugees and business, including in CNN and Politico.
Born in South Africa, Gideon came to the U.S. in 1996, earning a BA from Yale and a JD from Stanford.
